in chronological order

asshole by mtv mosh brigade.
personnel: jeffery burton salane.
this is oldest & most lo-fi of the danger sessions. it was recorded on my realistic mixer while jeff & i were snowed in by the worst nor'easter of 1996.

when your heroes hate you by kind of like spitting.
personnel: ben barnett (with an appearance by jeffery salane.)
one night, i videotaped a show my friend's band played. ben was impressed with the sound quality on my video camera. i was impressed with the quality of ben's song writing. This is one of the many songs we recorded at my old apartment during the autumn of 1997.

frisbee[live] by the lucksmiths.
personnel: marty,mark, & tali.
recorded live at UVM.
after the show the lucksmiths, colin & i got a wee bit pissed. i bought beer & colin dazzled the boys with his mastery of the australian accent.

bells & howells by ¡!uh-oh danger¡!
personnel: josie danger & david dångér with a sample from ellie gompert.
the final song recorded by uh-oh danger, recorded in the spring of 2000. a song with both josie & ellie, swoon.

some times i forget i am a jerk by the fever.
personnel: kevin hoskins.
kevin tried out different techniques while recording the vocals. all of them included belting out the song with everything he could muster, but one involved kevin sitting under my desk. Recorded during the summer of 2000

annie scrumple's theme (theme from 'callahan & company') by terrible infant.
personnel: christopher norborg.
the situational comedy 'callahan & company' follows the madcap, goodtime adventures of callahan calhoun, a college student raising a darling, orphaned moppet in his dorm room. chris stunned us with this heart-felt rendition recorded during the summer of 2000.

all night love affair [live] by thrïver.
personnel: members unkown. this arena rock anthem was recorded sometime between 1977 & 2000 at danger stadium in akron, ohio.

??? by my first days on junk. personnel: steve williams.
this song was half recorded on steve's 8-track in newport, vt. The vocals were done at danger studios during the summer of 2000. steve rules.

hole puncher & cut by headcase. personnel: joe boo.
joe by far had the most enthusiasm about recording his song. we sampled 'stand by me' at the end of the song. boo once told me that there "ain't no party like an s-club party." recorded the summer of 2000

i got it by bi-polar outing. personnel: jason routhier & steve williams.
some people say that steve & jason are the ira kaplans of the northeast kingdom.

theme from a sunday afternoon by magogs. personnel: jason routhier & steve williams.
some people say that steve & jason are the brian wilsons of the northeast kingdom. recorded on jason's casio.

spit(the never never song)by diesy.
personnel: arthur & tyler with help from maia & jess wisloski.
late one autumn night, the diesy came over with an array of instruments to prove that weezer is not the only band that can write an angry pop song.

360º by the part-time losers. personnel: colin clary.
what makes this song is a mixture of colin's pop sensibilities & the wonderful sound of josie's amp on top of the dryer. Recorded winter 2001

space, as opposed to light by colin clary.
personnel: colin clary.
thick & spacey, you never would have guessed that this song was recorded 15 minutes after 360º.

we influence the green parth by bears.
personnel: alex, paul & bill. recorded winter of 2001 on
alex's eight track at the bear's bungalow in hadley, massachusetts. alex says it is a 'psychedelic pop song.' i believe him.

passions hovering beyond the shoulders by love problems.
personnel: jared metzner & shawn lee with daryl rabidoux.
recorded winter 2001. shawn lee sat on jared's foot as she recorded her haunting vocals. i am still impressed with the sounds that daryl got to come out of the sk-1.

silver spoon by james kochalka superstar.
personnel: james & friends.
James came over & recorded a song with about 15 minutes notice, for that he gets the sprit award.

fire by sue norton.
personnel: sue.
At a super bowl party, sue was singing a Marvin Gaye song in the kitchen. two days later, she was recording in my roommate's bathroom.

fitted eskimo garment by the central high all-stars.
after a 17-hour drive, colin & i sat down with dynamic duo of james kennedy & christopher norborg to record this improv'ed masterpiece. record the winter of 2001 at the home of the lovely maria rogers in south bend, indiana (where colin was born again).

vapor trail (boo remix) by the magic is gone.
personnel: joe boo, tom, & colin.
This recording was marred by problems. colin's throat was sore & there was neither a bass nor drums available for joe & tom. things came to a crucible when i accidentally erased Zach's track. After I stopped hitting myself, the boys came together & rocked this shoegazing classic.

last a week by zach ward.
personnel: zach & five notes played by colin.
this was the second time recording zach's song after the debacle with the magic is gone. He was actually happy to replay the song. plus, he wanted to add the second guitar at the end of the song.

wood glue by james kochalka superstar.
personnel: james with some help from kimmy pearson, colin clary.
This song is the final session. originally james was going to record a theme song for an indie film, but instead he recorded this pop classic.
